World Earth Day 2025:
Every April 22nd, we show up with tree-planting campaigns and repost quotes about saving the earth.
We change our profile pictures.
We wear green.
We say the right things.
But the earth doesn’t need another hashtag.
It needs healing.
And the home—our first place of learning—might just be the battlefield where the future is won or lost.
A Dangerous Truth We’re Not Talking About the Earth
Climate scientists have warned us:
If the global temperature rises by just 2°C, the damage becomes irreversible. That’s not a future problem—it’s a now problem. Floods, droughts, food insecurity, heatwaves, wildlife extinction—it all escalates at 2°C. And we’re already halfway there, but what if we told you this crisis isn’t just about carbon emissions and climate conferences? What if it’s about what we’re teaching our children—or failing to teach them—at home?
We’re raising children who don’t know how to:
- Conserve water at the tap.
- Reuse before throwing away.
- Eat responsibly and waste less.
- See the earth as a gift, not a garbage bin.
The environment doesn’t start with forests.
It starts with families.
We can do better as a society and this change starts with us! Thanks for this ♥️
