We all experience frustration throughout our lives, but how we choose to react can make a huge difference. 

The Raise Them Queens foundation is here with helpful tips on staying positive when faced with frustrations, from understanding core emotions and tackling them head-on to using cognitive reframing techniques. No matter what challenges come your way, you don't have to let them consume or define YOU.

Practicing positivity during difficult times can help create both a sense of resilience as well as more success in pursuit of goals. 

A renewed focus on optimism will enhance problem-solving techniques while helping build awareness around mental strength  all essential traits for functional adulthood living. 


Through keeping an open mind, seeking additional guidance from family or mentors where appropriate, having patience and perseverance are paramount if one wishes to succeed in tasks complicated by hurdles along our academic or career journey.

Here are five tips from The Raise Them Queens Foundation to help cope with frustration;

★ Talking to someone rather than isolating.

★ Writing about your feelings and identifying out what makes you frustrated.

★ Recognizing things and situations  that cannot be changed. 

★ Developing coping skills.

★ Meditating and exercising.


Whenever you feel bombarded, overwhelmed and frustrated by the circumstances that life throws at you remember this: feeling your emotions doesn't mean surrendering control over them. Always remember that we are all humans and expressing our feelings only solidifies our humanities!!
